NBA Rumors: Allen Iverson considering D-League for NBA

Who does not want Allen Iverson back in action in NBA? I sure do!

The 11-time All-Star and four-time NBA scoring champ hasn't played in the NBA since his 25-game stint with the Philadelphia 76ers back in the 2009-10 season, but he's still hoping to get back into the game.

It has been reported that A.I. is willing to play in D-League if that`s what it takes to return to NBA.

Iverson played in Turkey last year but lasted only 10 games due to various injuries. He spent 14 seasons in the league, averaging 26.7 points, 6.2 assists, and 3.7 rebounds per game.

Allen Iverson has considered playing in D-league, or even in Caribbean, in South America if it leads to NBA.

A.I. struggling personally and financially, after he blew through the $154 million fortune he amassed during his NBA career, is looking for any way to get back to NBA. There have several rumors and talks on recent weeks regarding his decision to D-League or not. However, LA Lakers do have interest in A.I., if he first agrees to play sometime in D-League and shows progress, but the decision rests finally on his hand.

Iverson is likely to give up his return attempt if he doesn't sign with a club by the Feb. 26th All-Star Game.
There is a higher possibility of him joining D-league in order to get back to NBA according to different sources. It would be great to see 36-year elite back in NBA.

Will A.I. join D-League and get back in NBA? Even if he does, will he have what he takes to be in NBA?
