NBA Trade Rumors 2012: Ramon Session and Gilbert Arenas - LA Lakers Trade Rumors

The Los Angeles Lakers could be without the services of backup point guard Steve Blake for several more weeks and have been putting a lot of minutes onto the shoulders of rookie guards Andrew Goudelock and Darius Morris.

The Lakers have talked to the Cleveland Cavaliers about a possible trade for Ramon Sessions.

Los Angeles has an $8.9 million trade exception that it got as part of the deal when it traded Lamar Odom to the Dallas Mavericks. The Cavs are paying Sessions $4.3 million this season and he has a player option for $4.6 million for the 2012-13 season.

The Cavs  are "interested in stockpiling draft picks in potential deals," sources tell, who reports that the Lakers aren't the only team calling about Sessions.

Another possibility for the Lakers is possibly signing veteran guard Gilbert Arenas, who has been working out in Florida.

However, nobody from the Lakers has gone to seen him work out.
